<li>Work out plan &#8211; Before you hit the gym, make sure you have your work out plan worked out. Don&#8217;t just randomly pick a machine and randomly work out a random muscle group. <li>Commitment &#8211; Make sure you are 100% committed to muscle building. Don&#8217;t be lazy. The only reason people fail at building muscles is because they are not commitment. If you commit to a goal,  you will be successful. It&#8217;s as simple as that.</li>
<li>Eating the right foods &#8211; The biggest mistakes beginners muscle builder make is not eating enough food. In order to gain muscle, you have to consume more calories than you burn off.  Aim for 2500-3200 calories a day which will provide you with the necessary amount of calories to build muscle mass while minimising fat gain.</li>
<li>Don&#8217;t over train &#8211; More is not always better. At most, you should only train for an hour. After an hour, your cortisol levels will start to rise and this catabolic hormone will inhibit muscle growth.</li>

It&#8217;s okay to do a warm up run before lifting weights, but don&#8217;t go overboard. They have never attempted the program before. I don&#8217;t get how or why people can call someone a liar when they don&#8217;t even have the program themselves.</p>

The average joe (me) has done it and I&#8217;m loving it. You do not need to spend your whole day in the gym. If you don&#8217;t know, working out too much does not build muscle. The majority of the people working out in the gym does not know this. People think that the harder you train, the more muscle you will gain. Have you ever been in the gym and see the same guy at the gym for 2-3 hours straight? It makes me laugh a bit when I see that.  Don&#8217;t you feel that pain in your muscles after a workout? If you don&#8217;t let it recovery, how will you build muscle? You won&#8217;t. That&#8217;s the biggest mistake I&#8217;ve made when I first started to work out.</p>
<p>Your muscles does not grow while you are training. If it was that easy, it&#8217;ll be easy to gain muscles and we all know it&#8217;s hard to do.  Your muscles grow during the regeneration phase after wards.</p>
<p>The great thing about the <em>no nonsense muscle building program</em> by vincedelmonte is that he does not recommend working out for more than 3 days a week! If you work out more than that, it&#8217;ll only hurt you since you are not giving your muscles enough time for it to regenerate and heal. This means you have more time to do other stuff like hanging out with your friends and family.</p>
