As many of you already know, you will have to eat muscle building foods in order to gain muscles. Here are some foods you should eat in order to maximum your muscle gaining efforts…
- Eggs – The protein in eggs will support your body’s protein needs. Also, it contains vitamin B12 which is necessary to break down fat and muscle contraction.
- Salmon – It’s filled with high-quality protein and omega-3 fatty acids. Omega-3 will decrease muscle protein breakdown after your workout and improving your recovery. Although you may not like the taste, salmon is a great muscle building food that you should consider eating.
- Almonds – Consider as muscle medicine. Almonds are great source of vitamin E. Vitamin E is a antioxidant that can prevent free-radical damage after your heavy workouts. You should munch on about two handfuls of almonds a day.
- Yogurt – Yogurt is ideal with it comes to the combination of protein and carbohydrates for exercise recovery and muscle growth. Yogurt is one of my favorite muscle building foods because it also tastes great.
- Beef – Beef is a major source of iron and zinc which are two crucial muscle building nutrients that you need. It’s also the number one food source of creatine which supplies your body with energy for pumping iron.
- Coffee – Fueling your workout with a little of caffeine will help you lift longer.
- Olive Oil – used to prevent muscle breakdown by lowering levels of a protein called tumor necrosis factor.
- Water – Did you know that your muscles are approximately 80 percent water? Even an increase of one percent in body water can impair exercises performance and affect recovery.
Those are my favorite muscle building foods that I’ve personally used to gain lbs and lbs of muscles. You can learn more about muscle building foods inside no nonsense muscle building. If you are serious about gaining pounds of muscle, you should give those muscle building foods a try.
